Trust Issues False Statements to Victims of CSA

So essentially the Trust put out a false statement yesterday!

“As a result of the denial of the petition by the Supreme Court, the Order confirming the BSA Plan is now final.” From their email update dated 1/12/2026.

Because today there words are “On January 12, 2026, the Supreme Court denied the Survivors’ request for further review of the Third Circuit’s decision. This means that the Order confirming the BSA Plan is another step closer to being final.” from an email update this morning January 13, 2026.

There latest update is “January 2026 Trust Update on the U.S. Supreme Court Appeal:

January 12, 2026

January 2026 Trust Update on the U.S. Supreme Court Appeal:

On October 14, 2025, a small group of sexual abuse Survivors filed a Petition for Writ of Certiorari with the United States Supreme Court. By filing this petition, this small group of Survivors requested that the Supreme Court review the decision of the Third Circuit in connection with their appeal from confirmation of the BSA plan of reorganization (the “BSA Plan”).

On January 12, 2026, the Supreme Court denied the Survivors’ request for further review of the Third Circuit’s decision. This means that the Order confirming the BSA Plan is another step closer to being final.

However, and although the standard is very high, it is possible that the Survivors will file a petition for rehearing with the Supreme Court, in which they will ask the Supreme Court to reconsider its denial of their Petition for Writ of Certiorari. Unless the time to do so is shortened or extended by the Supreme Court, such a petition for rehearing must be filed within 25 days after the denial of their Petition for Writ of Certiorari — or by February 6, 2026.”
